Little Atoms presents a panel discussion on the rise of anti-Semitism, with particular emphasis on the political left.
David Hirsh teaches in the Sociology Department at Goldsmiths College, University of London. His research interests are in antisemitism, Israel/Palestine, nationalism, fundamentalism, cosmopolitanism, socio-legal studies, genocide, crimes against humanity and cosmopolitan law. David is the editor of the Engage website, which was set up to intervene in the campaign for a cultural and academic boycott of Israel. He is also on the Editorial board of Democratiya and the Academic Committee of ISGAP, the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and policy, based at Yale University.
Shalom Lappin is Professor of Computational Linguistics at King’s College, London. He taught philosophy at Ben Gurion University of the Negev (1974-1980), Linguistics at the University of Ottawa (1980-84), where he was Chair of the Linguistics Department (1981-84), and linguistics at the University of Haifa (1984-88) and Tel Aviv University (1988-89).
