We’re working on updating the Little Atoms website in the near future, but for the time-being all the archives will be kept here.

The website is maintained by Sid Rodrigues.

Sid Rodrigues started his career as a conjuror in Hamley’s toy shop in London’s Regent Street and a circus skills performer. Finding out that he was painfully shy and being told that he had a slight speech impediment, he abandoned his brief stint in entertainment to study sciences at the University of London.

He spent seven years working for one of Europe’s largest independent laboratories in R&D for forensics, biomedical sciences,  pharmacogenetics, and in regulatory and analytical chemistry.

Sid has also been the force (and face) behind Skeptics in the Pub for the last five years (which has been awarded a couple of Time Out gongs and many column inches), spent a large amount of time as web-editor and consultant to The Skeptic Magazine, organised the first UK event for skeptics that broke the 500 attendee barrier  (which was organised in less than a month), has the final chapter in Ariane Sherine’s Yuletide best-seller, The Atheist’s Guide to Christmas, has been a researcher for various television programmes, including Channel 4’s The Ultimate Psychic Challenge and had the pleasure of submitting images for series I of QI as part of his role as London organiser for the Annals of Improbable Research.

He currently works as a freelance event organiser, researcher, writer, podcast supremo and general mischief-maker. Sid currently resides in London.
